Chocolate Date Bars

12 dates -- pitted
1/2 cup(s) almonds
1/2 cup(s) hazelnuts
1/2 cup(s) coconut sugar
4 oz(s) baking chocolate -- melted
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp cinnamon


1. In a food processor pulse dates until smooth. Add almonds and hazelnuts and pulse until chunky.

2. Push date mixture to the sides and pour melted chocolate and cinnamon into the center. Pulse until combined.

3.  Shape mixture into a rectangle on a smooth surface and cut into bars.  Mix chia seeds and cinnamon together in a shallow dish and press each bar on both sides into the mixture to coat.

4.  Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
