Fruit Filled Pops
Serves:
Time Required: 10 (5:10 total)

We can always use more fruits and vegetables in our diet, and here is a perfectly fun way to get some of that great summer fruit to replace some sugar in a cold treat.  You’ll need to dig out your popsicle molds, but if you can’t find them, use the good ol’ fashioned paper cups and spoons like I did here.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup(s) blueberries
1/2 cup(s) mango(s)
1/2 cup(s) raspberries
1 cup(s) lemonade

Directions

1.  Fill the cups evenly with the fruit and then pour the lemonade to fill each cup almost to the top. Place tops on cups and freeze for approx. 5 hours to harden completely.

NO POPSICLE MOLDS?  Use small bathroom dixie cups and plastic spoons instead! Put one sheet of aluminum foil over all of the cups and secure it on edges of dish.  Using your palm to find the rim of each cup, pierce through the foil in the middle of each cup using a knife.  Now you can simply slip the handles of the spoons through the slits. If you want the spoons facing down instead, simply loosen one side of the foil, lift it up and place a plastic spoon with the spoon side down into each cup.  Put their handles up through the slits in the foil and the re-secure the foil to the edge of the baking dish.  Place the dish in the freezer and straighten the spoons before closing the door.  They may not end up perfectly straight, but it won’t affect the delicious taste.
