Sparkling Gingerade

For gingerale lovers, here is a wonderful, healthy twist on an old idea. It sparkles with refreshment just in time for hotter weather.


8 cup(s) lemon
1 1/2 cup(s) sugar
5 ginger tea bag
4 cup(s) sparkling water
mint leaves -- optional garnish


1.  Squeeze juice from lemons.  Put 1/4 with sugar in small saucepan on medium heat.

2.  Stir until sugar dissolves, approx. 1-2 min.

3.  Place tea bags in juice and seep for 30 min.

4.  Remove tea bags and add rest of lemon juice.

5.  Fill glasses half way with ice and tea mixture.  Fill remainder of glass with sparkling water.
