Honey Sweetened Carrots
Time Required: 5 (25 min. total)

Honey, parsley and orange zest give this traditional side dish a new taste.


6-8 cup(s) whole carrots -- 1/2" slices
3 tbsp parsley -- chopped fine
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp orange zest
1/4 tsp pepper


Prep Work:  Cut carrots.  Chop parsley.

1.  Bring water to boil in medium sized sauce pan with lid.

2.  Cook carrots for 20 minutes; drain.

3.  Return carrots to saucepan and add honey, parsley, zest, and salt and pepper.
